Report and Highlights from Etihad Success
Manchester City returned to the top of the Premier League after a comfortable 3-1 victory over Brighton at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
The hosts took the lead inside the first two minutes when Julian Alvarez fired home from close range, and Erling Haaland doubled their advantage with a trademark finish shortly after the half-hour mark.
Brighton pulled a goal back through Leandro Trossard just before the break, but Haaland restored City's two-goal cushion early in the second half with his 17th league goal of the season.
