Vols overcame an early 2-0 deficit to win their second straight SEC Tournament game

HOOVER, Ala. — The Tennessee baseball team picked up a big win in the SEC Tournament on Thursday, beating Georgia 4-2 at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.

The Vols trailed 2-0 early, but they rallied to score four unanswered runs to take the lead for good.

Tennessee's offense was led by Luc Lipcius, who went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs.

On the mound, Will Heflin started for the Vols and allowed two runs on four hits in four innings.

Ben Joyce came on in relief of Heflin and pitched three scoreless innings, allowing just two hits.

Jordan Beck pitched the ninth inning for Tennessee and earned the save.

With the win, Tennessee advances to the semifinals of the SEC Tournament, where they will face Ole Miss on Friday.
