Match Preview: Brighton & Hove Albion vs Ipswich Town
Kick-off: 7:45pm, Friday 10th August
A tough trip to Ipswich will be the first test of the season for Graham Potter’s new-look Brighton side.
The Seagulls will be without a number of key players for the trip to Portman Road, including Davy Propper, Yves Bissouma and Bernardo. Leandro Trossard is also doubtful with an ankle injury.
Ipswich, meanwhile, will be looking to make a positive start to the season after a disappointing campaign last year.
The Tractor Boys have made a number of new signings over the summer, including former Brighton midfielder Emyr Huws.
Paul Lambert’s side will be confident of getting a result against Brighton, who have not won at Portman Road since 2015.

Key battle
The key battle in this match will be between Brighton’s midfield and Ipswich’s attack. Brighton will be without a number of key midfielders, so Ipswich will be looking to exploit this weakness.
Prediction
This is a tough match to call, but I think Brighton will just edge it. The Seagulls have a stronger squad on paper, and they will be looking to make a positive start to the season. **Brighton to win 2-1**
